Some more pics of the enginebay - YES it looks nasty. YES it'll get cleaned up. I'm using flux core gass-less mig welding wire - cuz i'm too cheap to go and buy gas.

Then I decided to pull the brake booster/master cyl off. I have a few tricks up my sleeve for tucking the booster/vacuum lines.

I then got inspired and repainted the old rusty thing (brake fluid leaks over the years..)

And a really sneak peak view of the valve cover Its not done yet. Teaser alert!

nice work! forgive the ignorance, but why have you done those seam welds which are all tacked up? what was there before/what's different? i get that you filled the other holes...

Honda normally does the seams with ugly seam sealant. If you look back in the thread you can see some pics with the engine out. Or if you look in your own engine bay you'll see it. All hondas are the same.

I've taken out all the seam sealant and stitch welded the seams. This way the body can still flex a little bit, bit will make the chassis stiffer overall.

It also allows me to smooth all the seams so it looks like there's no seam at all with the next step of the "engine bay shave".

    Hope this explains it more?

I don't think Stevie was ever intending to go this far & in-depth with his build in the first place.

Even without what'll be under the hood, your sleek white goodness shits all over that thing
The path of Honda is beset on all sides by the iniquities of Mazda and the tyranny of Nissan. Blessed is the Honda owner who in the name of handling and performance shepherds his Honda through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his Honda's keeper and the finder of lost kilowatts. And I will strike down upon thee with great acceleration and furious VTEC those who attempt to overtake and destroy my Hondas. And you will know my name is PRELUDE when I lay my VTEC upon thee.

So I've got the engine bay almost ready to start using filler.

The valve cover is almost done too. Note, the spark plug cover is not done yet.
