so they arent going to help out even though they butchered your first lot? I used the ES bump stops and none failed or even looked liked wearing.

Here's some good progress with the car.

So in my seach to find boost leaks, I came across a leak in the exhaust manifold - I decided that I now have a new toy, why not use it! Here's the results!

I welded up the pinhole leak - and it shouldnt blow exhaust out anymore! If it does, I'll just tack it back up again.

And of course, a pic of my unimig 250amp inverter welder.

    Enjoy!

Yeah it was tricky. Had to feed the welder torch under the radiator hose. Basically welded it blind once I lined it up with the mirror.

Had some good progress happening last night:

    shocks - installed
upper ball joints - new boots
    suspension - installed fully
    driveshafts - installed
    brakes - installed & blead
    clutch - bled
headlights - installed with new globes

I also trouble shot a few problems I was having:

    1. The pin installed on the clutch was the one that should've been on the brake pedal. Hence I couldnt find the right pin! swapped them round and its all good.
    2. Hit the brakes hard and found the prop valve leakin again. Managed to get in and turn another full turn into the nut, eventually leaks stopped.
    3. Clutch pedal feels good / brake pedal feels bloody excellent
    4. Installed my headlight bulbs and ran wires to them. I will probably pull the crappy black looming off and group then tape them up nicer today.
    5. Found a plastic push clip that fit absolultely perfectly in the brake light switch stopper.

^^ There's no point in my even pretending I'm in the race to get back on the road with you guys. It's like the turtoise and the hair ... except this tortoise got lost without a GPS and decided to take a gap year (decade)
The path of Honda is beset on all sides by the iniquities of Mazda and the tyranny of Nissan. Blessed is the Honda owner who in the name of handling and performance shepherds his Honda through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his Honda's keeper and the finder of lost kilowatts. And I will strike down upon thee with great acceleration and furious VTEC those who attempt to overtake and destroy my Hondas. And you will know my name is PRELUDE when I lay my VTEC upon thee.

Went round to check out a JDM 4g part out a guy listed on Boost Cruising.

Ended up picking up some bits including a really nice pair of mint condition seatbelts for the front.
The retractors are perfect in them and they look practically brand new.

Sure beats my old worn/torn/faded ones in the front.

    Their just like condoms......
You'd rather have them, and not need them.
Than need them, and not have them....
