    COTM - November - **PayLo**

First of all: CONGRATS! To Daniel for winning this months Car of the Month.
    PayLo
    His Story:

I hardly knew anything bout ludes until I had to buy a car... I was pretty desperate to get a car though, because I was having to take public transport to uni and it was a major pain in the buttocks. Tim (Preludacris) encouraged me to get a lude and got me onto PA. So after awhile of searching on the forums and doing a bit of research, I decided to take a few for a test drive. Only ever considered the 4th gen though... they're so sexy when they're done up. Anyway, got my hands on a JDM Si-VTEC and loving it even though it's an auto. However, I wasn't really satisfied when it was stock looking, so the plan was to get it looking how I wanted, then some performance mods.

    Mods:

    Exterior

    Speedy Holotype R Rims

    Hiro Front Lip

    Jetspeed Vertex Side skirts

    Jetspeed Vertex Rear Bar

    Euro Tailights

    Clear Front bar lights

    Clear side repeaters

    Extra lower parkers

White Led swap in all parkers/number plate surround

    6000k MTEC HID's

    Debadged All round
    JDM One piece chrome headlights
    JDM Foggies

    Interior
Haven't done much to interior as I'd like to keep it stock. I love the look of the interior and don't think it needs and changing.
White Led's In doors and roof
EXTREMELY RARE - 4 Buttons in steering wheel
Just bought Black leather seat covers and trimming to be fitted soon
    Genuine prelude matts

    Engine

    No real engine mods....
Plan was to make the car look the way i wanted it, then work on sussy and engine

    Audio

Source - Dual Din DVD/DIVX player with bluetooth, GPS, MP3, TV.... brilliant.
    Front - Focal Splits

    Rear - Alpine Type S 6"

    Boot thump - 2 Alpine Type R's
Amps- Alpine monobloc and an alpine 4ch
    Custom boot install
Viper 791xv with remote start to protect all the gear

    Jem's Corner

    What's you're Favourite Mod?

Absoloutely love my front lip even though it's a biatch to drive around with. Also my dvd/divx unit... bluetooth function is unreal! music stops playing when someone calls in and there's an inbuilt mic so it's pretty practical.

If you could have another Model Prelude - What would it be?

5th Gen definitely... and i'd do it up to look like grnlude's, DMT's or Hooman's. Back when i first joined PA they were definitely my fav 5th gens.

How long did it take you to decide what Mods to do?

I'm pretty impulsive as most of you would know. I buy, try then get rid of it if i don't like it, or keep it if I do. It's a very wasteful habit that i need to kerb lol. Originally I would've loved to get the WWRS kit but they were so hard to find... but i'm very happy with the way things are at the moment with my car.

Where did you get your ideas?

Looked at heaps of ludes on that cardomain site for ideas when I was choosing my kit. Captain Sideburns car was on of my first favs and there was one paticular picture that he had of his car... It basically looked really light so I've tried to keep it 'light' looking with the chrome headlights, clear indicators, sprayed nostrils, light colored rims, etc...

Did you do majority of the Mods yourself?

Unforetunatly I can't claim to have done most of the stuff myself. I mean, some of the minor stuff like changing tailights, spraying the nostrils and all that sorta stuff I did, but with my kit and audio install I got all that proffessionally done. Once I get the sussy mods I'm planning to do them myself with a bit of help of course from some other members!

Do you have a name for your lude?

No... that would be sorta sad wouldn't it? If I had to name it, I'd call it 4th gen Prelude.

    Next Mod?

I'm getting some tein springs+koni yellows. Now that i've done everything I've wanted to do exterior wise, I'm gonna try and get it handling well... swaybars, the konis, etc...

    Future Aspirations for Prelude?

Like I said before, I'd love to get it handling really well so I can have some fun in the dandenongs and not bounce around so much when i'm driving. I'm going to do some minor engine mods but nothing major as my car is auto, and to be honest, I don't see the prelude ever being a very fast car. I think the prelude handles as well as anything though and I'd love to get it as tight as possible.

How do you find the police are towards your lude? Any story's?
Last year, it was actually on my birthday that this all happened. My parents decided to take me for yumcha nearby and I drove. When I got back out to my car someone had reversed into it but luckily there was a note from an absoloute legend telling me that he witnessed it and took down the rego of the car. Anyway, I went to the police and eventually I got to bring my car to Skinny's workshop to get it all fixed under insurance. On the way to getting a quote however, I was stopped by the coppers and defected for being too low and having worn tyres. On the way back from getting the quote I got flashed by an unmarked copcar and recieved a fine. So it was a pretty good birthday.

Hey Paylo, are you sure about lowering the car even more? I scrape my front bar almost every driveway I go to, lol... I don't think I would be able to get out of my own carpark if I got it lower (It lightly touches now when I go slow).

Congrats on COTM mate, nice car. Loving those red tail lights, and that Hiro front lip is so aggressive without being over the top. Love it mate.
