Nah, I am pretty much finished. Reached my hp goal and got a nice balance between performance and comfort now. I do too many kms to go for a more hard core car (24000kms p/a).

I probably have just an oil cooler to go. Want to make it more bullet proof for track days.

What's happening with the four door car that you were thinking of buying? I think the last time we spoke about it you had test driven the Jetta... which was like ages ago

Hi, well that plan kinda fell through. It was hard to part with the lude and we managed to make do with just the lude and Jazz. Now that Annabelle is big enough to sit upright in the child seat, she can go in the back of the lude and the car is semi-practical.

Yeah I test drove lots of cars, Euro, Liberty, Mazda 6, Jetta but all of them were pretty boring to drive compared to the lude, they just all felt soft and lazy. The Euro was the closest thing to be called a "sporty drive". Liberty was just plain slow. Mazda 6 was alright but the engine was boring. Jetta was fine too but quality was iffy.

So the lude will stay for a couple more years.

Ha, that was a long time ago. Just some corporations deciding to do a corporate race formula. Basically companies who got together to go racing on the cheap. It was lots of fun, it rained a lot and driving a 1.8l FF car with an open diff in the wet is a leaning experience. Sometimes it was more like dodge'm cars.

Favourite mod would have to be the Tanabe SS coilovers, closely followed by the 4Bidden Motorsports short shifter. None of the mod have been really high difficulty, the hardest DIY I have had to do would have to be changing the balance shaft oil seal, basically involved a DIY timing belt change. Tracking down and fixing oil leaks were tough and frustrating.

I learnt a trick from watching CSI of closing the nasal passage and breathing through the mouth so its not too bad.

Rich, you would have to agree with me that the current Honda showroom lineup is looking a little "Toyota" all in all, if you get my drift. What kind of car would a knowledgable Honda expert like yourself add to the showroom to add some spunk to the range???

Where did you meet your wife, what was it that attracted you to her, and who asked who out??
