I'd never get a WRX. I prefer the old man's WRX (Liberty GT or previously, Liberty B4)

I'd rather buy a GTM Libra, build it myself and slap a K20A into it than buy a new car.

Plus why spend all the money on a new car when you have the awesome Prelude? everything else is just chickenshit in comparison for the money.

all this talk about WRX's, like their the next best thing....hello!

the WRX has been here since the age of jap modding came along in the mid 90's infact

    Subaru had the WRX
    Honda had the CRX
Nissan had and still has the 200sx
    Toyota had the supra RZ

these cars were top choice for show cars alike which started off the modding scene from 98 onwards

then personalisation came along and ppl looked further into each manufacturer for cars to do up
......I like to keep a lollypop there

Too many variables go into getting a new car, especially a wrx.
Insurance, urge to speed, urge to drag, urge to stuff around, urges in general. Also, cop bait, police being bastards towards you, police stopping you for no reason, and so on...
I must do something soon though, the 3G is getting old and without huge money being invested into a total transformation and re-birth, it will eventualy wither away...
I was the guy who always kept and done-up his first cars in all the major video games. I never once sold it so i could add Stage 3 Turbo to a better car. But in real life, given the inconvenience of $$$ i don't think i could afford to keep the 3G, or take care of it on the side.
4WD Turbo... Newer, faster, easier to mod...

    AMEN!!

thats of course if ur referring to the 3g lude..

well its possible actually, its even an greater advantage if ur a good welder.

modding the chassis will be the hardest part..fitting the 4wd layout will just fall in place.

but we can only dream on...unless someone with lots of $$ decides to do it

I still love my lude, but my next cars not going to be a subie, though i would get a liberty over a wrx any day of the week.

My eyes are set on the Lexus IS250 for my next car, with the IS300 a possibility.

1 of my mates has a mazda 6 and recently got a is250. he drove the is250 for a week and disliked the steering big time and since then hasnt driven it and prefers the mazda 6 over it anytime. however they r sexy cars i gota admit. should take it for a test drive and see wot u think of the steering

It certainly feels like Honda is completely changing its focus away from speed and performance. Hell, they pulled out of F1.

I have experience with both the IS300 and IS250, and id take the IS300. The IS250 is very sluggish compared to the 300 and much more watered down. A manual IS300 without sat nav would be my advice. The sat nav is old, heavy and stupid to operate not to mention adds about 2K onto the price of the car.
