    COTM - New system

    Heya,

Many thanks for all your opinions regarding COTM and the way in which it was conducted. We will be introducing a new system for December because the COTM for November has already been decided via the previous system.

COTM will be be run as follows:
    * voluntary-basis - if you want you car featured for a month, please send an email to Lavish (djlady@hotmail.com and put the subject as COTM) with the following information.
    ** Your story
** Modifications - engine; exterior; interior; audio
    ** What's your favourite modification?
** If you had your time to redo everything, what would you do/not do?
** How long have you had the prelude for?
** If you could have another model prelude, what would it be?
** How long did it take you to decide what modifications to do?
** Where did you get your ideas?
** Did you do the majority of the modifications yourself?
** How long ago did you buy your 'lude?
** What modifications did it have when you bought it?
** Has it been dyno'ed yet? If so, what were the results?
    ** Next modification?
** Future aspirations for the 'lude?
** How do you find the police are towards your 'lude? Any stories?
** Please attach any pics you want shown
    * The Moderating Team will collectively decide which car will be featured each month
    * Only preludes will be featured each month ... the Showroom is there for all non-prelude members to display their weapon of choice

Any questions? Please post them up otherwise get busy sending Lavish your 'lude's life story.

    Thanks

How long does a "COTM volunteer" email last? Do potential nominees have to reapply each month, or do they apply until either awarded or retracted?

can we just PM lavish saying we want to be COTM? alot of people are constantly updating their lude with new things so if you dont get picked till 4 months down the track it will have all stats about your car etc. I think give the person 3 or 4 days notice once they have been picked to PM a more detailed overview of the car...

i suppose reapply each month makes more sense as so member may not want their car in the next month or the month after and so on. Plus it keeps things more clean.

that has been discussed and we'll notify the nominees that are selected for the final choice.

once you have submitted your application, there will be no need to reapply. Lavish will contact each member before their vehicle is featured to allow them to make adjustments to their bio if necessary

Feisty can you edit your top post and put in there my email address so they know exactly where to email it instead of PM's etc.

That new system seems better than the previous one.

I still thought that allowing the community to "vote" wasnt a bad idea.

I just hated the whole 3 month time period before you could be voted for again.

But its hard to plz everyone, and im sure this method will work fine.

And to everyone except the moderators....COTM will be more of a surprise!!
