    1989 H22a Turbo

Well its finally here and on the road.. I got here back on tuesday but i have been having too much fun to post her up so i took some quick pics just to give u a quick look.

Its running great but after talking to my mech he said its really restrictive in high rpm's he said once i get the 3inch straight through "she'll be flying" lol

Im missing a red badge on the front its in the glove box which is going back on this w/e..

My front rims will be going back on 2moro with some nice new tyres.. and the exhaust is booked in for next wednesday..

    Specs-
    JDM H22A VTEC
Custom made equal lenght turbo manifold
CT26 Hi flowed and polished turbo
    Split 3inch dump pipe
    2.5inch exhaust (soon 3inch)
    Turbosmart Bov
KandN airfilter both BOV and air filter are boxed
    PWR oil cooler
2x Craig Davies Thermo fan (keeping heat from turbo onto radiator)
600x300x100 Hyper flow intercooler with custom made piping
    Red chrome Oil catch can
    Braided Oil line
    Red silicon
    Haltech E6-K ECU
    Mugen Oil Cap

    Interior-
    Defi Style boost gauge
    Apexi Boost controller
    Isotta (evolution) steering wheel
    Type R seat belt pads
    TV/dvd head deck plus remote

I dont know what to expect with it gets tuned with the new exhaust but that and the new tyres plus my new suspension.. all i can say is she will be quick..

I havent taken the car past 5.5rpm yet not until i get the exhaust
    Vtec kicks in at 4.5
Turbo has great spool and is very responsive

    Pics-

    Cheers all

p.s yes i know my number plate is stuffed lol its getting fixed within the week as is my exhaust front badge and rims 2 go on..

Looks very tidy and tastfully done.
Well done on getting it on the road. Now for the fun.

    Top effort mate.

That manifold must have been a real effort to fabricate.

That's one sweet ride you got there pg_vtec. Grats on the build.

Just curious (and probably to early to know yet) have you had any issuse with your drive shafts or CV's? (i.e. yr half shafts?)

I've seen alot of cheap "turbo starter kits" and it's got me thinking, this years a great year to go turbo!

WOAH!! Its finally done! Man I've never seen pics of your car but looking at them now... dayum! What you did with the air filter by boxing it up in the battery area is exactly wot I wanted to do, how much did it cost to make and did you do it yourself?

I Love it. Good on you for goin all the way on a 3g, most who think about going down this road tend to let practicality get in the way. Hope to see this baby in person one day...................
