yes they could of , I took mine from the factory open wheel diff and matched them with new and installed on the DC2-R diff , shimmed , gapped ,preload , never looked back . from memory the bearing...

get both bearings and take them to a bearing shop and get them matched , they are 40mm inside dia bearings . I took mine to BSC and got them matched . never had a problem
