Well, someone attempted to steal my 4th gen while I was at work last week.

So I decided it was about time to get a different daily driver.

I'd seen a 2nd gen a guy around the corner was selling, and I had already agreed to buy it for my son. But he's been acting like a dick lately, so I still bought it and have decided it will be a good daily driver.

I intend doing some work on it. Get it back to it's origonal shape. (perhaps even better than origonal. He he he)

Anyhow, it's not great, but not so bad that it's not worth saving.

Would have been a pretty stupid idea on their part to steal your 4th gen man, it's pretty distinctive! Would have been caught quickly. Bit of a waste putting a B18C in the 2nd gen, the engine is worth more than the car and it would be lots of work.

Apparently something like 30kgs. Obviously not very reliable info or anything.

What I want to know is if anyone on here has done a h2b.

so by my count thats-

2 crx's
1 4g prelude
1 2g prelude
and a 300zx or 2
must look like a jap sports car used car lot at your place

1 of those CR-X's is purely a parts car. It's still sitting at the holding yard at Darra. No intensions of either bringing it home, or resurecting it....
And I sold one of the 300's. The other is awaiting my attensions out at my uncles property at Tamborine.

So at home I only have,

85'ish 2nd gen Lude.
89 EF6 JDM CR-X.
94 VtiR 4th gen Lude.
(and a 1972'ish cortina of my fathers, which i'd love him to take away)

oh, a jet ski, formula 25 race boat, and a 12 foot skiff. But boats don't count, right...?

I'll come pick up the cortina, and the crx anytime you want to get rid of em... ;)

Yeah, not in bad shape. Gear box is dodgy. And a little panel damage over the rear drivers quater which was bodgied up. But with a little effort, she'll be right.

She's a carby. And ALB I believe.

The cortina's not mine to give, otherwise, you could have it. Bloody thing is just rusting away out there. The old man thinks it's worth something.

The CR-X.... Well.... That, we have plans for. LOL
Aparrt from being the wife's daily driver, i've already got a body kit for it. The work has begun.

Put a pair of 17' Onsoku mags on it yesterday, now that it's been all roadworthy'd and re registed.

Anyone after a pair of classic old origonal 13' honda aloy rims? Perfect if someone is restoring an old civic...!

Anyhow, the 17's look ok on in...

How did I not come across the only other active 2G on the boards...

Nice work. I remember reading somewhere you picked up a 2G but totally forgot about it. Have you got any plans to do silly things to her? These cars are too much fun.

Plans at this point only got as far as restoration work. And supplying a little droppage.

I'm going to keep her looking stock and clean, with nice rims and lowered. No engine mod plans, as it will be driven regularly by my son who has recently joined. (he's 2nd gen PA driving a 2nd gen... Woo Hoo!)

That's good to hear dude... Not that I'm an expert but I've had @nd gen ludes for the past 10 years so i've learnt a few funny things abotu them and know where to find the very few after market mods available for them.

Not that you would but don't let your some rice it out please!
