maybe we could do some back-to-back dyno testing between the different viscosities on a base model & worked h22? in a similar way to the BMW test with that other brand of oil.

i would have thought this oil is too thin for a prelude!

Honda's FEO oil is 10w30 and Edge comes in 5w30 so it's the same thickness at operating temp but synthetic is slightly more slippery/flowing I heard...

Seems to be fine even after 200,000km. I'm loosing half a litre of oil average every 1000km and I don't exactly drive like a granny lol.

I engage high cam quite a bit every day and it's hard to not flog it when you enter a motorway lol...

ive always used Nulon 15w40 modern engine mineral oil, simply becasue its an aussie brand and the mechanic i used to work for uses nulon in his car. how much does it cost for 5L of castrol edgesport 5w30?

On special at Super Cheap Auto I got a bottle for about $38.
Which is less that I pay for Mineral Honda FEO.

I would have to say that 15W40 is probably too thick at start up and at operating temp. Although its not very far outside 10W30 that is recommended, so probably doesnt matter too much.

I want to know if Castrol themselves will say that their 5W30 is suitable for the H22.
