I have to be honest and say that I have always used Castrol Oils and BP Ultimate Fuel in my car. I swear by the products. Ill certainly be giving Castrol Edge a go in my next oil change too.

I'm have been using Castrol for a while now (Magnatic though not Edge) and must say its a quality product. Thanks for the support too Castrol.

So, looking at their site there are a number of Edge Sport oils.
Which one would be recommended for the H22?
Although I will probably wait until my next oil change before I switch from FEO to Edge...
I dont think its recommended to top up mineral with synthetic right?

i think its the 5w/30 for our h22's if im not wrong. And yeah don't top up with something other than what's in your car just wait for your next oil change.

been using edge for about 6 months.
SnK it depends what grade you buy. Prices range from about $40-$70

$40 to $70 is a sweet price. I already use castrol but not a very high grade. Will give something a bit nicer a go when my next service is due.

whats the comparision with leading synth oils of same grade? eg. Motul? if edge is better for the wallet then deff will change over

It would be best to do an oil change to the new oil. From memory I used Castrol Edge Sport 0W40 (http://www.castrol.com/castrol/productdetail.do?categoryId=9006580&contentId=7013359) in the h22. I think a W30 oil is a tad thin for the aging H22A.
